Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the important commodities in aquaculture. The demand for larvae for vannamei farming is increasing, thus the availability of high-quality larvae is required. Feed is a key factor in the success of vannamei shrimp production because it serves as an energy source that supports the growth and efficiency of the shrimp. One of the nutrients needed by the larvae is natural feed such as Artemia sp. Artemia sp. is a non-selective filter feeder, meaning it ingests all feed available around it. To improve the nutritional content of Artemia, enrichment or bioencapsulation techniques can be applied. The materials used for this enrichment can come from lipids rich in ω3-HUFA, such as fish oil. The dose used is 0.2 grams of fish oil and 0.2 grams of egg yolk. Based on the results obtained, the absolute length for group A was 4.03±0.02 cm and for group B was 3.61±0.07 cm, the specific growth rate (SGR) for group A was 5.33±0.04% and for group B was 5.12±0.09%, and the survival rate (SR) for group A was 71.25% and for group B was 64.41%.
