Abstract

In Indonesia until now there are still many irrigation doors operated manually, that is by twisting the crank that there is rotary wheel shaft irrigation door. Indeed, the way it works is very simple, because it only rely on hand rotation, but because the distance from the irrigation door to the operator's home, work fatigue and boredom work, then it becomes a delay in the late opening or closing the door irrigation. Based on the above conditions need to be designed a machine tool that can overcome the problem that is by designing a remote control device door irrigation with the use of Hand Phone (HP) signal. The purpose of this research is to design the building of remote irrigation door controller, perform functional test of circuit and control tool component, perform performance test in the laboratory and evaluate the performance test result. In this study the design criteria, structural design and functional design of the machine must be established so that it becomes a reference in carrying out this design engineering. The performance test results indicate that the design tool of the design result can rotate the electric motor to the right and to the left with a delay time of 1-12 hours. Thus it can be concluded that this controller can adjust the ups and downs of irrigation doors and the length of the openings. Keywords : design, control, irrigation door.
