Abstrak

The poultry breeding industry is growing very rapidly because it is the main source of poultry seeds that produce meat and eggs. Meat and eggs are sources of animal protein needed by the human body, so consumption of meat and eggs tends to increase because the level of public knowledge of nutritional value for maintaining body health is increasing. Hatching is an activity of incubating (setter) and hatching (hatcher) Hatching Eggs to produce chicken seeds either for one's own needs or for buying and selling. Hatching is the process of developing an embryo in an egg until the egg breaks and produces a chick (DOC). DOC broiler chickens are broiler chicken seeds in the form of day-old chicks. The artificial Hatching Egg hatching process is: receiving eggs, storing, selecting hatching eggs, fumigation, preheating, setting hatching eggs, transfer/candling, hatcher, pullchick and evaluation of hatching results. Final Assignment data collection activities were carried out at PT Kerta Mulya Sejahtera, Kertajaya Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, starting from March 1 2022 to April 23 2022. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the overall hatching process at PT Kerta Mulya Sejahtera Rumpin is good as seen from the hatchery staff and employees who have carried out the hatching process starting from receiving HE to evaluating hatching results properly and correctly.
