Treatment Of Boys Artificial Insemination Center (BIB) Lembang, Bandung West Java

Abstrak

Care of bulls is one aspect that can improve the performance and quality of semen, such as
cleaning the stables, bathing the bulls, providing food and drink, clipping nails, giving vitamins,
administering worm medicine, daily observations, actions and prevention and disinfection. The
purpose of writing this final project is to understand the care of bulls at the artificial insemination
center in Lembang, Bandung, West Java. The steps used were collecting and recording results and
observations, conducting interviews and discussions with staff guides, as well as animal health
officers. Data collection for this Final Project Report was carried out for four months in the
implementation of field work practices (PKL), starting from February 20 to June 16. The methods
used were field observations, interviews and literature studies. From the results of the discussion, it
can be concluded that the treatment of bulls can be said to be good enough. Judging from the
treatment which includes bathing livestock, hoof care, checks, health and feeding.
