PENGUATAN KAPASITAS PETANI DALAM BUDIDAYA KOPI ORGANIK BERSERTIFIKAT MENUJU KETAHANAN PANGAN BERKELANJUTAN PADA KELOMPOK TANI LAMPUNG ROBUSTA DI KECAMATAN AIR HITAM LAMPUNG BARAT

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of coffee farmers in Air Hitam Subdistrict, West Lampung Regency, in implementing certified organic coffee cultivation systems. The main problems faced by the partners include limited knowledge of organic farming, the absence of an internal management system (Internal Control System/ICS) required for certification, and restricted access to appropriate agricultural technology. The activities were carried out using a participatory approach involving technical training, institutional mentoring, and the development of a pocketbook guide for organic coffee cultivation. The results indicate significant improvement in farmers’ knowledge and skills in managing organic coffee farms, the establishment of proper documentation systems according to certification standards, and increased awareness of sustainable agricultural practices. This program contributes to improving the added value of local coffee products and promotes sustainable food security.
