Abstract

The demand for corn and soybeans continues to increase in proportion to the increase in demand for food and industr. So the government programs corn and soybean production through increased planting area and the implementation of an efficient and productive technology. Plating machinery for corn and soybean use injection system on minimal tillage is expected to accelerate the time of planting, especially on land with index of planting 200 – 300 on cropping pattern paddy – paddy – crops or paddy – crops. The prototype of the machine driven by two wheel tractor with a power of 5.5 kW/2200 rpm and operated by one operator. Field capacity for corn an average of 2.8 hours/ha and soybean 436 hours/ha with speed of 2.56 km/hour. Total expenditures for corn and soybean seeds 2 grain/hole withaccuracy level 80,5 % for corn and 77,8 % for soybean with planting depth 3 – 4 cm, fuel consumpsion for corn planting 1.13 l/h and soybean 1.18 l/hKeywords: Machinery for corn and soybean planting, injection system, minimum tillage
