Abstract

This research was conducted in the Berastagi highland of the dry season aims to know thepotential of IVEGRI’s caisim genotypes will get genotype which has higher yield and goodquality according to consumer preferences than released varieties. The experiment wasconducted from Mei to June 2012 and was designed using Randomized Block Design withfive replication. The treatment was consisted three caisim genotypes were IVEGRIcollection (LV 5363, LV5353 and LV145) and two were released varieties (Christina andGreen Packcoy) as a comparison .The result showed that LV 5353 and LV-145 had higheryield than comparable varieties , although it was not significantly.Key words : Brassica rapa, superiority trial, Berastagi highland.
