About the Journal

Focus and Scope 
Jurnal Peternakan Terapan is a journal that accommodates the publication of
the results of research / studies in the field of animal husbandry including:
Animal Production, Animal Nutrition and Forage, Animal Product Technology,
Animal Health and Animal Socio-Economics.

This journal is published twice a year by the Lampung State Polytechnic
Animal Husbandry Department.

Jurnal Peternakan Terapan (Peterpan) is a scientific journal publishing
research results and reviews in the field of animal husbandry which includes:
1. Breeding and livestock genetics,
2. Livestock reproduction,
3. Animal anatomy and physiology,
4. Nutrition and animal feed technology,
5. Forage forage, livestock production,
6. Animal Husbandry Biotechnology,
7. Behavior of livestock,
8. Livestock health,
9. Animal husbandry systems,
10. Livestock socio-economics,
11. Animal husbandry policies,
12. Animal products technology.

Peer Review Process
The criterion for acceptance of a paper is the quality and originality of the study
and its significance for our readers. Unless otherwise specified, the manuscript is
reviewed by anonymous peer reviewers and editors. Final acceptance or rejection rests
with the Editorial Board which has the right to accept or refuse to be published 
The manuscript must be written so that it can be understood by the reader.
Manuscripts should be written in a clear, concise, direct style.
Writing should contribute to and be accepted for publication based on scientific content,
the Editor reserves the right to modify the script type to remove ambiguity and repetition
to improve communication between the author and the reader. If extensive changes are required,
the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision. The script process takes a maximum
of three months. In each manuscript, peer reviewers will be assessed from a substantial and
technical aspect. The reviewers who collaborated with Peterpan are experts in animal science,
both from academics and practitioners.

Publishing Frequency
The Journal of Applied Animal Husbandry (peterpan) is published twice a year
every March and September.

The Journal of Applied Animal Husbandry (peterpan) accepts original papers in animal husbandry
in general that have not been published in other journals.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides direct open access to journal content on the principle that articles are
freely available to the public supporting greater global knowledge exchange.
