Analisis Kebutuhan Pengembangan E-Learning Politeknik Negeri Lampung

Nowadays electronic-based teaching media or known as electronic learning (e-learning) is a recent innovation in the application of information technology on teaching and learning activities. Its existence is an inevitable requirement and even a factor supporting the learner's independent learning process because teaching materials can be accessed whenever it is not dependent on space and time. This article aims to formulate the stages of needs analysis on the process of developing e-learning media on the study program Information Management Polytechnic State Lampung. Stages of needs analysis is the first step in the design cycle of teaching e-learning media. Data collection at requirement analysis stage through interview and discussion to Head of Study Program, Lecturer, and Student, focus group discussions, and documentation study on existing document. The activities performed are analysis of the running system, functional requirement analysis with PIECES method and non-functional requirement analysis of e-learning, actor identification and use case analysis diagram. The results of the study resulted in the mapping chart of the system running, the identification of user needs, identification of non-functional e-learning needs, actor identification, and use case diagram. The results of this study can be used as a reference in the design phase and implementation of teaching media either based on websites or based on android.
