Abstrak

This aims of the study to determine the best dosage of NaOH for the manufacture of pasta Nannochloropsis sp. This research was conducted at the Center for Mariculture (BBPBL) Lampung in January-March 2015. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), with 4 treatments, namely: P1 as Control (NaOH dose of 100 ppm), P2 (Dose NaOH 125ppm), P3 (NaOH dosage of 150 ppm), P4 (NaOH dosage of 175 ppm) with repetition as much as 4 times in each treatment. Parameters measured were population density Nannochloropsis sp., The specific growth rate Nannochloropsis sp., And water quality. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA), and the least significant difference test (LSD) level of 5%. The results showed that the highest population 2 is achieved by treatment with a population density of 6687.00 x 106 Cells / ml, and the lowest population density found in treatment 4, namely the density of 4045.00 x 106 Cells / ml. culture media is best to use NaOH NaOH 125 ppm with the highest growth rate Nannochloropsis sp., of 43.21% of the day.Keywords: Nannochloropsis sp., Pasta, increase in growth, and the dosage of NaOH
