Produksi Bit Bonggol dan Bit Anakan Pisang Ambon Hijau dan Ambon Kuning di Kebun Percobaan Tegineneng, Lampung Selatan

One of the main factors in the cultivation of banana is the providing great number of the health seed. Assessment carried out at the experimental Station, Tegineneng, South Lampung, in March-May 2014 by seed multiplication through bud of collar bit of rhizome and tiller of Ambon Hijau and Ambon Kuning. Collar bit of rhizome derived from the buds in banana collar of rhizome that have been harvested. Collar of rhizome then cut to size 10 cm x 10 cm according to the number of buds. The materials of tiller bits used are banana tillers (20 cm in diameter) and the first seedling induced to regenerate axillary buds. The experemental design was factorial randomized complete design and parameters measured in 20 plant samples were height, number of leaves and buds and the attacks of pests and diseases. Data were tabulated and statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and to see the differences between treatments do further study using DuncanMultiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level. The results showed, both as height and number of leaves best in Ambon Hijau from bud of collar of rhizome, were 29,08 cm and 4,4 leaves. Collar of rhizome to produce of buds more than bit of tillers and the number of axillary buds of Ambon hijau and Ambon Kuning has no significant different, respectively are 4,61 and 4,50 buds.Keywords: seed, ambon hijau, ambon kuning, collar of rhizome and tillers.Unduhan
