Peningkatan Kualitas Lahan Dengan Tanaman Koro Benguk Penghasil Bahan Organik

Koro benguk (Mucuna sp) plants can grow well on a variety of soil conditions, from soils react sour and high Al saturation, such as Oxisols, Ultisols (Podsolic), until the soil has a high pH as Alfisols (Mediterranean) and Vertisols (Grumusol). Koro benguk plant growth (Mucuna sp) has rapidly (2-3 months) to cover the soil surface well, and protects the soil surface from the kinetic energy of the grains so that the surface soil rain spared from damage. Materials forage/crop biomasssa koro benguk (Mucuna sp) can increase soil organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus amount available for nutrient content, through the leaves mucuna sp. which fall to the ground or the use of organic fertilizers in the form ofmulch or dibenam conjunction with tillage.Keywords: land productivity, korobenguk and, organic mattteUnduhan
