Abstrak

As population growth in Indonesia, demand for corn crops, growing (good for food, feed andb industrial). To meet the needs of the corn, the Ministry of Agriculture in 2015 will increase corn production at 20.67 million tons, an increase of 1.66 million tons (up 8.72%) from the production of 19.01 million tons in 2014 to increase the area corn harvest of 160.48 thousand hectares (an increase of 4.18%). While land productivity strived rose to 2.16 quintals per hectare (up 4.36%). To achieve these targets, it is necessary to support components of appropriate technologies, efficient and productive in the cultivation of corn seeds.Cropping tools technology with Hand Push Corn Planters (HPCP)-01Models, Hand Push Type and Roll Injection System is expected to accelerate the time of planting, especially applied to land a narrow, irregular and hill with the pattern of cropping index rice-paddy- rice-crops or crops-crops. The corn seed cropping tool operated manually. The capacity of the field work for corn planting an average of 11.8 hours / ha (0.08 ha / h) with a spacing of 105 x 19.70 cm, working speed 0,38m / sec (1.36 km / h).The number of seeds of 1.73 grain/ hole with an empty hole (missing hill) 1.27% to 4.56 cm planting depth.Keywords: Corn, Manual seed planting, injection system,especially applied toland a narrow,irregular and hill.
