Moringa leaves contain antioxidant compounds (phenolics and flavonoids) that can reduce oxidative stress. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of adding Moringa oleifera leaf powder to Boer crossbreed goat feed on blood glucose levels and total plasma protein. The study was conducted in June-November 2024 at the PERKASA Boer Goat Group Cattle Pen. The study was conducted experimentally using the Randomized Block Design method with three treatments and three replications. The ration treatments consisted of P0: Basal ration (60% DM cassava leaf silage + 40% DM concentrate); P1: P0 + 5% Moringa oleifera leaf powder from the DM requirement of cassava leaf silage; P2: P0 + 10% Moringa oleifera leaf powder from the DM requirement of cassava leaf silage. The variables in this study were blood glucose levels and total plasma protein of Boer Crossbred goats. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that blood glucose levels in the three treatments were still within the normal range but there was a tendency to increase, namely P0 49.60 mg/dL, in P1 53.60 mg/dL, and P2 45.20 mg/dL; while total plasma protein increased in all three treatments, namely P0 7.42 mg/dL, P1 7.60 mg/dL, and P2 7.24 mg/dL. The conclusion of the research results obtained the best dose of Moringa oleifera leaf powder supplementation in Boer Crossbred goat feed can maintain blood glucose levels within the normal range and increase total plasma protein with the best treatment dose of 95% basal ration + 5% Moringa oleifera leaf powder.
M M P Sirat, R Ermawati, F F Alfaruq, S Setio, A Qisthon Copyright (c) 2025 PETERPAN (Jurnal Peternakan Terapan) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PETERPAN/article/view/3736 Fri, 11 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Produksi Telur dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) Puyuh Petelur (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) yang Diberi Tepung Bawang Putih (Allium sativum) https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PETERPAN/article/view/3738
The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of garlic flour (Allium
sativum) on laying quail (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) on egg production and Income Over
Feed Cost (IOFC). This research is intended to determine the agribusiness system and analyze internal and external factors in designing a dairy farming business development strategy at Yasin Farm. The agribusiness system was analyzed using the Business Model Canvas (BMC), the internal factors were analyzed using the Internal matrix of summary analysis factors (IFAS), while the external factors used the external matrix of summary analysis factors (EFAS) and the livestock business development system was analyzed using the SWOT matrix. The results of the study show that the agribusiness system in Yasin Farm's farm is interconnected between the upstream subsystem, the cultivation subsystem and the downstream subsystem. where in the upstream subsystem Yasin Farm focuses on meeting the needs of feed, seeds, and medicines, which have been carried out effectively from the results of cooperation with partners, in the cultivation subsystem of Yasin Farm involves the maintenance and production of milk and cheese production while in the downstream subsystem of farming Yasin Farm focuses on selling products from its farm. Based on the results of the internal analysis, the summary analysis factor (IFAS) has a total value of 3.09 and the external summary analysis factor (EFAS) is 3.02, which is a very good position. Meanwhile, in the IE (internal-external) matrisk, the farm is in cell I with strong internal conditions and a relatively high response to external factors. So the right strategy in the development of the livestock business is to maintain the increase and stability of milk production and it is recommended to carry out an SO (strength-opportunity) strategy to achieve increased business growth.
R F Rinanti, E P Santoso, V Budiman, E Fitasari Copyright (c) 2025 PETERPAN (Jurnal Peternakan Terapan) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PETERPAN/article/view/3616 Fri, 11 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0800 Pengaruh Harga, Citra Merek, Kualitas, dan Promosi terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Produk Nugget di Malang https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PETERPAN/article/view/3980
The rise in processed meat product consumption in Malang City during 2021–2023 had an impact on this study.
