The purpose of this study was to determine the survival rate of fish, daily growth rate, feed convertion ratio, character of aquaponic media, vegetable productivity, and water quality in a aquaponics. The results obtained by the survival rate at a fish density of 5 kg/bucket were 77-81%. The daily weight growth rate and feed convertion ratio at a fish density of 5 kg/bucket with feeding frequency of one time more effective. The character of the live system aquaponics media has many advantages, namely: water saving, simple system, no need for electricity, suitable for areas with minimal land, low investment costs, easy to implement, suitable for household production, the density of fish being raised is quite high. The productivity of vegetables is also good, the plant density is quite high, and good water quality. The aquaponics system of “kulkas hidup” can be used as a solution for food availability in densely populated areas, limited water areas and post-disaster areas.

Keywords: Aquaponics, Kulkas Hidup, Food, Post Disaster

Tulas Aprilia Copyright (c) 2021 Jurnal Perikanan Terapan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2203 Fri, 26 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Method of Hatchery for koi Cyprinus carpio to produce quality seeds at Mizumi Farm, Sukabumi, West Java. https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2186
Koi fish is one of the ornamental fish commodities which is popularly cultivated in Indonesia. This fish has an attraction because of its very beautiful color and is often used as a contest fish. Every year the demand for koi fish continues to increase both in domestic and foreign markets so that it have promising business prospects. One of the prospects is in hatchery activities which include container preparation activities, broodstock maintenance, broodstock spawning, egg hatching, larval rearing, seed maintenance, denial maintenance, water quality management, pest and disease prevention, and harvesting. One of the koi fish hatcheries is Mizumi Farm, located in Sukabumi, West Java. The productivity of koi fish in that location includes the number of eggs produced around 116,452 eggs, 81% fertilization rate (FR), 75% hatching rate (HR), 63% larval survival rate (SR), 63% SR of seed / white matter and SR of denial. 74%. The results showed a total of fish is 634 tail with a size of 5 cm. Marketing of koi fish seeds at Mizumi Farm includes fostered partners, hobbyists in the Sukabumi area and other cities.
Andri Hendriana, Fajar Ridwansyah, Andri Iskandar, Asep Syamsul Munawar, Deni Lugina Copyright (c) 2021 Jurnal Perikanan Terapan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2186 Fri, 26 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 The Effectiveness of Giving Frozen Blood Worms or Silk Worms on the Growth Rate and Survival of Snakehead Fish (Channa Striata) https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2353
Gerald Dean Santoro, Adni Oktaviani, Epro Barades Copyright (c) 2022 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2353 Wed, 10 Nov 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Phase III Determination of Gurame (Osphronemus gouramy) in A Tarpaulin Pond With Optimal Stocking Density and Probiotic Administration https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2357
Ari Yudatama, Pindo Witoko, Dian Febriani Copyright (c) 2022 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2357 Fri, 08 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000 Maintenance of Litopenaeus Vannamei Post Larva Stadia with Additional Probiotic EM4 And Bacillus Sp in Artificial Feed on The Growth and Survival https://jurnal.polinela.ac.id/PERANAN/article/view/2358
