Pengaruh Varietas dan Pemberian Jenis Pupuk terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Bawang Merah

In Indonesia onion productivity remains low below potential results can be achieved around 20 t / ha. The successful cultivation of onion one of them using improved varieties and growing requirements are met, and good cultivation techniques. The assessment was conducted in July to August 2013, housed at the experimental gardens Bangka Belitung Island Assesment Institute for Agricultural Technology (BPTP). The design of this study using a factorial randomized block design (RAKF), the first factor fertilization treatment consists of 4 levels: P1 = Giving cow manure + NPK, P2 = Giving cow manure + NPK + KCl + ZA, P3 = Provision of chicken manure + NPK, P4 = Provision of chicken manure + NPK + KCl + ZA. Factor varieties treatment consists of 4 levels: V1 = bima brebes varieties, V2 = ilokos king, V3 = ilokos bronos, and V4 = super philip. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Variables measured include: plant height, number of leaves, Number of tillers, and the weight of the wet harvest. The results showed fertilization treatments and varieties significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, and the weight of the wet harvest, whereas treatment interaction was not significant for the observed  variables. Treatment varieties of super Philip mimiliki maximum growth and the highest
production of 4.48 kg/petak. Philip super varieties can be developed on dry land.
